Wichita - Richard Dean Ollek Jr. passed away December 26, 2021 at Diversicare of Sedgwick. He was born November 18, 1943 in Hillsboro to Richard Edward and Rosy (Weinbrener) Ollek.
He married Barbara Birkle November 24, 1962 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
Survivors include: wife Barbara Ollek of Wichita; sons Richard Ollek of Wichita, Ronald Ollek of Wichita; daughter Robyn Gruenwald of Bel Aire; sister Peggy Roberts of Topeka; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ascension Lutheran in Wichita officiated by Rev. Dr. Michael Bingenheimer. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Church.
