Elizabeth “Libby” Wheeler, 62, of Salina, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. She was born August 5, 1958, in Salina, to Lyle and Marie (Niehouse) Lewis. She loved to go camping with her family, shopping, making jewelry, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents John and Inez Niehouse; and brother Steven Joseph Lewis.
Libby is survived by husband Max Wheeler; sons Max Wheeler (Lidia) and Darrin Francisco (Heather); and brothers and sisters (Lewis family).
A vigil service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 13 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph, Concordia, or to Ryan Mortuary for a funeral service fund.
