CONCORDIA -- With the recent postponement of the 2020 Bethel College Invitational, Cloud County Community College head cross country coach Drew Mahin has announced the addition of the 2020 University of Nebraska Kearney Invitational to the T-Bird Schedule.

The meet, which will take place this Friday, will now officially replace the Bethel College Invitational that was originally scheduled for this past weekend before COVID-19 related issues forced its postponement. The UNK meet will mark the first time that the T-Bird cross country teams have left the Sunflower State to compete this season, and is slated to be the final competition for CCCC prior to the NJCAA Region VI Championships on Oct. 28. As of today, six schools are slated to compete including five schools from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, with Colby, Dodge City, Hutchinson, and Northwest Kansas Tech expected to join the T-Birds in Kearney.

If any other schedule changes occur for the Cloud County cross country team this fall, they will be announced as they occur at www.cloudtbirds.com
