🏀 Punt's pick as Newcomer of the Year headlines Men's Basketball All-KCAC selections

Kansas Wesleyan's Caiden Punt was selected as the KCAC Newcomer of the Year by conference coaches headlining KWU's three picks to the 2025-26 All-KCAC teams as announced by the conference office.

Punt was excellent for the Coyotes in his first season in purple and gold, averaging 15 points per game during conference play, ranking No. 17 in the conference. Overall he ranked 13th in the conference in scoring, averaging 16 per game. He ranked eighth in the conference in rebounding in conference play at 6.3 per game and sixth overall at 6.7 per game.

Punt was also selected to the All-KCAC third-team.

Evens Appolon was selected to the honorable-mention All-KCAC team. He averaged 10.3 points per game in conference play and 11.5 per game overall. He ranked seventh in the KCAC in rebounding in conference play at 6.5 per game and 15th overall at 5.6 per game. He led the KCAC in blocks per game at 1.5 per game in conference play and 1.4 per game overall.

Brandon Avedon was selected to the All-KCAC All-Freshman team. He averaged 12.9 points per game overall and 13.2 per game in conference play ranking No. 22 in the conference. He ranked third in the KCAC in assists per game at 4.3 in conference play. He also ranked No. 25 in the conference in steals per game at 1.2.
