Join K-State Research & Extension and Kansas Wesleyan University Community Resilience Hub for an opportunity to share, listen, and learn about what is happening in our community around local food systems. We want to hear from you about what is working well and what challenges our community is facing related to local foods. This event will also provide the opportunity to connect with others in our area that are interested in local foods and learn about resources available to help make progress.
The goal of the roundtable is to help K-State Research & Extension staff better understand the great work that has already been done related to local foods, areas where we are struggling to make progress, and what resources are needed to improve our local food system. The information collected from the roundtables across the state will help inform the development of new K-State Research & Extension programs related to local food systems.
This roundtable will be held on November 14 from 3-4:30 p.m. at Kansas Wesleyan University (100 E. Claflin Ave Salina, KS 67401) in the Student Activity Center Room 203.
