Eric Don Kriegh

Eric Don Kriegh passed away March 30, 2023 at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina, Kansas. Eric was 57 years and 5 months old. He was born in Salina, Kansas on October 23, 1965, Eric was the son of Roy M. Kriegh Jr. and Carla Germaine Peterson Kriegh.

With two older brothers, Kelly and Trace, Eric was the youngest of Roy "Jr." and Germaine’s three sons. Eric grew up in Minneapolis, Kansas and graduated from college at Kansas State University after High School. For a few years after college, Eric lived in Salina and worked as a Social Worker at the SRS Office. He later moved back to his home town of Minneapolis and eventually became a caregiver for his father in his father’s late years.

Eric loved music, watching sports and was a loyal fan of the Minneapolis High School Lions and K-State Wildcats. Eric enjoyed visiting with people and could be found most anywhere in town socializing with anyone that would lend him an ear.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Roy "Jr." and Germaine Kriegh.

He is survived by his brothers, Kelly Kriegh (Mary Ellen) of Lawrence, Trace Kriegh (Jeri VanMeter) of Minneapolis; nephews, Andrew, and Christopher Kriegh (Savannah); and niece, Alexis Kriegh.

Cremation was chosen.

A private family graveside service is planned for a later date at the Highland Cemetery in Minneapolis.
