Steven D. Dye was born March 28, 1950 to Edward Neil Dye and Mildred Grace Dye in Iola, KS. He had a full life filled with love for Jesus, family and friends. He loved his career of teaching information systems and business classes at Community College and having his own computer business at home. After retiring to Morro Bay, CA he enjoyed walking the Harbor Walk with his wife, having coffee with friends, going to dinner and enjoying life on the coast.

After battling Pulmonary Fibrosis for 11 years, Steven entered his new home of heaven on May 26, 2024.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Klema) Dye; his son and daughter-in-law Gabriel and Pricila of Texas; his granddaughter, Kaitlyn of Texas; a sister Elizabeth Bailey of Nevada; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and his brothers Kenneth, Clyde, Tracy, Neil and Richard.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Parsons Funeral Home of Ellsworth, KS. Burial will follow at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
