Another sure sign of summer: Salina Municipal Band performances!
Grab your lawn chairs and head to Oakdale Park Tuesday evening. The band will kick off its 137th season Tuesday with an 8 p.m. concert on the Eric Stein Stage in Oakdale Park, Salina Municipal Band Director Tom Miles told Salina Post. The concert is open to the public at no charge.
The band, comprised of 40 area musicians, will play a varied program of Sousa, overtures, Broadway, sacred, Latin, and pop selections.
