YORK, Neb. - Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer dropped a 4-0 decision to the York University Panthers on Wednesday afternoon.
York was awarded a penalty and converted in the 12th minute for the first goal of the match and the lone score of the first half.
The Panthers added three second half goals, one in the 48th minute, another in the 53rd and a final late tally in the 84th minute for the final margin.
Wesleyan's chances were limited in the match as KWU's best chance at netting a goal came in the 49th minute on an initial shot by Juan Manuel Lozada Leon.
The Coyotes had another good look in the 80th minute on a direct by Jose Valdez, but the shot was saved.
York outshot the Coyotes 10-8 in the match. Lozada led the Coyotes with three.
