Hillsboro - Edward Hein, 96, died July 22, 2021 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro. He was born October 2, 1924 rural Hillsboro to E.W. and Helen (Ediger) Hein. He married Margaret Ruby August 10, 1948 in Marion.
Survivors include: wife Margaret Hein of Hillsboro; son Dean (Beth) Hein of rural Hillsboro; daughters Karen (Greg) Jaworsky of Newton, Janet (Jim) Britton of Denver, Colorado; sisters Eileen Nickel of California, Melba Hill of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by: brothers Harry Hein, Dalton Hein; sister Marilyn Mohn.
Celebration of Life Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion officiated by Pastor Darren Frazier. Interment 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Haven of Rest Cemetery rural Hillsboro. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
