LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawks will travel to Lubbock, Texas, to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 11, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday. The game will be televised on FOX.
The Oct. 11 matchup with Texas Tech will be Kansas’ second-consecutive Big 12 Conference road game after the Jayhawks take on UCF in Orlando on Oct. 4.
The meeting between Kansas and Texas Tech will be the 26th meeting all-time and the 13th game played in Lubbock. Texas Tech has won four-straight games against Kansas, with Kansas’ last win coming in 2019, 37-34. This year’s game will be Kansas’ second of four Big 12 Conference road games.
The night game will be Kansas’ fifth night game this season after the Jayhawks take on UCF on Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. CT. The Jayhawks are 3-0 in games played after 5 p.m. this season.
