About the meeting
The Salina City Commission will hold its regular meeting on Monday January 26, 2026. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm inside Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street.

Consent agenda
1. Consider approval of the minutes of the January 12, 2026, regular meeting.
2. Consider approval of Resolution No. 26-8329 appointing a member to the Salina Community Economic Development Organization.
3. Announce the Mayor's appointments of City Commissioners to various boards, commissions, and committees.
4. Consider authorizing an ambulance remount by Emergency Services Supply and purchase of a new EMS cot from Stryker Medical in an amount not to exceed $255,900.44.
Administration
1. Consider Authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract for services with Keen Independent Research, Inc. for strategic and cultural planning services in the amount of $54,901.00.
2. Consider approval of Resolution No. 26-8328 authorizing and providing for various 2026 Capital Improvement Projects in an amount not to exceed $11,200,000.
3. Consider authorizing the City Manager to sign an Agreement for the Downtown Water Treatment Plant Process and Equipment Evaluation with Black & Veatch Corp. in an amount not to exceed $305,050.
4. Consider approval of Resolution No. 26-8327 funding a ReUse It Center in the City of Salina from the Solid Waste Fund.
5. Consider approval of Ordinance No. 26-11276 repealing Salina Code Sections 1-5.1 and 1-5.2 pertaining to the subject of consideration and publication of ordinances.
Development Business
1. Consider approval of Resolution No. 26-8331 establishing the CHDO Infill Housing Support Program as a one-year pilot program and authorizing the City Manager or designee to administer the Program.
2. Consider approval of Ordinance No. 26-11275 rezoning Lot 1, Block 5 of the Mariposa Subdivision from PDD/R-2 (Multiple-Family Residential) to R-S (Residential Suburban).
