Agenda items
Commissioners are scheduled to consider the following two proclamation request.
Consider proclaiming National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Sheila Beeson, sexual assault advocate for DVACK, is scheduled to present the proclamation.
Consider proclaiming National Stalking Awareness Month. Jarah Cooper, domestic violence advocate for DVACK, is scheduled to present the proclamation.
Other items on the county agenda for Tuesday are as follows.
●Consider awarding a bid for an assistant engineering technician pickup to Midway Motors of McPherson, in the amount of $30,285.
●Hear an emergency management update from Michelle Barkley, emergency management director.
●Hear a report about the Saline County Election Office mailer from County Clerk Jamie Doss.
●Hear an update about the new Saline County Jail from County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes.
●Hear Smith-Hanes' weekly update.
Additionally, the annual reorganization of the commission is scheduled. During this part of the meeting, commissioners are scheduled to elect commission officers.
