Kansas Wesleyan's Trevor Watson has been named as the KCAC Men's Golf Golfer of the Week for his efforts for the Coyotes last week.
Watson was the top finisher for the Coyotes last week at the Central Plains Invitational at Salina Country Club. Watson shot an even par 210 for the tournament. After opening with a 73, Watson went sub-par in the second and third rounds with a 69 and 68, respectively.
He finished tied for second in the individual results, and helped the Coyotes to a second place finish in the tournament.
Watson and the Coyotes are back in action this week at the KCAC Match Play event at Mariah Hills in Dodge City.
