Shasta S. Crum passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at her home in Salina, KS after battling brain cancer. Shasta was born on June 4, 1984 in Salina, KS.
She graduated from South High School in 2002, then attended Fort Hays University and Bethany College.
Shasta married Steven, the love of her life in 2009 and welcomed their first of five daughters in 2011.
Shasta was a wonderful wife, mother and daughter with a beautiful soul. She radiated such a positive light and was always a joy to be around. She was a diabetic champion for 30 years, never letting it hold her back in any way. Shasta blessed us all with her infectious smile, laugh, beautiful voice and love for all. She will be missed dearly.
Shasta is survived by her husband Steven; daughters Amara, Tiana, Olivia, Nalia and Bianca, .mother and stepfather Mary Lu and Dale Triplitt, stepbrother Joshua F. Triplitt,grandmothers Elizabeth (Betty) Bachofer, Jane Rogge and Glenda Triplitt, mother-in-law and father-in-law Sara and Galen Crum.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Daniel J. Bachofer, Dr. Reverend Stan Rogge and F.D.Triplitt.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Monday April 25, with family greeting friends from 6-8pm with a rosary vigil at 7 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, at Assaria Lutheran Church, Assaria, KS.
Memorials may be made in Shasta’s name for an education fund for the children, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St. Salina,KS 67401.
