Law enforcement are currently investigating an act where gunshots were reportedly fired at a south Salina neighborhood.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) at around 2:45 am on Thursday, there were reports of 3-5 gunshots that were fired in the&nbsp;1300 block of Midland.

A vehicle was then heard driving away&nbsp;simultaneously after the gunshots.&nbsp;

When officers arrived to the scene, they found evidence of shell casings along the street of the neighborhood.&nbsp;

There were no reports of damage or any injuries that occurred.

SPD stated there is no description of the vehicle that drove away from the scene at this time.
