Easements, software, an executive session, and the budget are among the items on the Salina City Commission agenda for Monday.
Commissioners are scheduled to begin with a study session at 2:30 p.m. Monday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street. The agenda for the study session is as follows.
2:30 p.m. – Budget: Comprehensive Fee Schedule, Pay Plan, Revenues, and Issues and Options. (A budget discussion also is scheduled near the end of the regular meeting.)
3:45 p.m. – Citizens Forum
The regular commission meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in room 107. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.
Commissioners are scheduled to consider a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute agreements for acquisition and authorizing the mayor to execute acceptances of the public utility easements needed for the South Well Field and Water Treatment Plant Improvement Project.
Other items on the city agenda for Monday include the following.
•Consider Resolution No. 20-7844 authorizing the mayor to sign an order form entering into a three-year agreement with Quick Base, Incorporated, for data management and process automation software.
•Consider authorizing the fire department to utilize sole source purchase of a remounted ambulance.
•Consider Resolution No. 20-7845 addressing the meeting schedules of City of Salina subordinate boards and commissions and repealing Resolution No. 20-7824 and Resolution No. 20-7834.
Commissioners also are scheduled to meet in executive session "to discuss the subject of the city’s claim arising from the detection, isolation, and cleanup of asbestos materials in the basement and basement stairwell of Fire Station No. 2 with special legal counsel, Ilene Munk, via telephone, and the city’s legal counsel," according to the meeting packet information.
