Unknown suspect(s) reportedly steals over $9,000 worth of items from a container in northwest Saline County.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office sometime between December 18 and January 8 at around 11:49 am, an individual illegally entered a container at northwest Saline County.

Reportedly, the suspect broke the lock on it and entered the container. The container held maintenance equipment for the water supply system in the area.

It was determined that a Puma 8008 HGE portable air compressor ($2,349), PitBull 14 Fusion machine ($5,954) along with three fusion machine dyes ($600) and miscellaneous hand tools ($400) were stolen. 

Moreover, there was damage made to the padlock and the trailer the container was on.
