Mary “Candi” Risley, 54, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on July 13, 2025. She was born on August 3, 1970, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Candi was the beloved wife of Kevin Risley and a devoted mom to Jodi and Josh Stamps, Daisy Risley, Rieanna Risley, and Tia Risley. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Kalli Canion, Teagan Canion, Silas Stamps and Grayson Kinnaird. She was a cherished sister to Michael and Beverley Stone. Candi also leaves behind many friends who were like family to her.
She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Sharon Stone, whom she loved so much.
Candi had a zest for life that was impossible to miss. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed her book collection whenever she could steal a quiet moment. She was a true social butterfly who could make anyone feel welcomed and loved. She had a gift for lighting up any room with her laughter and kindness.
She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, and her family was the heart of her world. Candi was a hard worker who built lasting friendships wherever she went and always had a way of making her coworkers feel like family. Her warmth and generosity will be missed by so many.
In the spirit of who she was, there will be no formal service. Instead, her family asks that everyone who knew and loved Candi celebrate her life in their own way. Share your favorite story, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, curl up with a good book, laugh with someone you love, or cook a comforting meal in her honor.
Her love, laughter, and light will live on in us all.
