Joyce Ann Sipe

Joyce Ann Sipe, age, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Leonardville Nursing Home, Leonardville, KS. She was born on February 16, 1940 in Wilson, OK to Wesley Dennis & Mary Ola (Byram) Latham.
She attended Wilson High School and earned her GED in 1984. She married Robert (Bob) Sipe on December 25, 1955 in Wilson, Oklahoma
Joyce was a homemaker, waitress and secretary for State Farm Insurance in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, making corsages and flower arranging. She was a member of the ESA Sorority & Oklahoma Square Dancing Association. She was an excellent cook & pie maker, she enjoyed bowling, square dancing and helping others. She also enjoyed traveling and “taking trips”.
Joyce is survived by her sons: Gary Sipe (Jody) Clyde, KS; Dennis Sipe (LaRita), Kingfisher, OK; Rick Sipe, Kingston, OK; Jim Sipe (Debbie) Elk City, OK; her grandchildren: Jerry Sipe (Alisha), Laurie Boarts (Jason), Lacey Copeland (Levi), Mitchell Sipe (Whitney), Dana Joyner (Sharee), Chris Sipe (Rachel) ; great grandchildren: Emma Copeland, Ty Joyner, Chase Boarts, Apollo Joyner, Ethan Boarts, Rhett Sipe, Makynlee Copeland, Ellie Copeland, Stryker Sipe, Davyn Joyner, Rory Sipe, Elliott Sipe, Saylor Sipe, Benjamin Sipe, Reece Sipe, Easton Joyner, Charlotte Sipe, Ean Caywood, Colton Lee (Violet), Payton Lee, and one due in July and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob, May 10th, 1998, grandson, Lane Sipe, July 26th, 2023, daughter-in-law Karla Sipe, July 10, 2023, her sisters, Faye Hollingsworth (Woodrow); Jean Rausin (Lovell); Gwen Clayburn & her brothers, Melvin Latham; Alvin Latham, and Billy Latham.
Joyce’s wishes were cremation. A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Kingfisher Cemetery, Kingfisher, OK.
