City of Salina
The City of Salina will host its second Accessibility Seminar on Thursday, October 16, from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at OCCK (1710 W. Schilling). The free event is sponsored by OCCK, Inc.
The seminar is a half-day educational opportunity to understand accessibility issues that individuals with disabilities face and resources available in the Salina area.
Guest speakers include: Karen Chapman of KSDS Assistance Dogs., Inc. and Craig Knutson of Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns. The seminar will also have a panel featuring local agencies that assist individuals with disabilities gain employment.
The event is free to attend with limited seating.
