Jon Paul Nelson, 56, died September 4, 2020. He was born January 29, 1964 to G.G. and Helen (Soukup) Nelson. He married Karla Bronson on August 4, 2015.

Survivors include his wife, Karla; daughter, Jessica Roy (Josh); son, Brian Nelson; sisters, Mary Wheeler (Phil), Nancy Thomas (Joe), Jo Nelson; brothers, Alan Nelson(Jeanne), Mark Nelson(Donnita), Olin Nelson; grandchildren, Zayne, Dalton, Jacey, Destiny and Kamaron; along with many other family and friends.

Jon worked at PKM Steel for 25 years, he enjoyed K-State football, and collecting John Deere tractors.&nbsp; He farmed all of his life.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Wilson Family Funeral Home.
