Salina Salvation Army
This holiday season, all 342 angels from the Salina Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program have been adopted, but some gifts still need to be returned.
The Angel Tree program supports area children aged 12 and under who might not otherwise experience the joy of Christmas. Each angel tag lists a child’s clothing and shoe sizes, helping donors choose personalized gifts to meet their needs this Christmas.
While most gifts have been returned, about 75 angels remain outstanding. Lt. Luke Hirsch of the Salina Salvation Army urges donors to return unwrapped gifts and their corresponding angel tags by the end of the day Wednesday. Gifts should be delivered to the Salvation Army North Santa Fe Avenue facility.
