Saline County reports 5 new COVID-19 cases; 604 of 781 recovered

Following is the Saline County COVID-19 update for Friday.

There are 5 new positive COVID-19 cases in Saline County that have been identified since the Wednesday, September 30 report. The total for the county is now 781, with 166 cases that are actively being monitored by the Health Department, 604 that have recovered, and a total of 11 deaths. Salina Regional Health Center reporting that they have 7 hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Salina Regional is a regional hospital, the COVID19 patient total is not specific to the number of Saline County residents who may be hospitalized.
