
Pauline Lorrine Eaton, 98, of Salina, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born Pauline Lorrine Jennings on November 28, 1927, in Dresden, Kansas, to Ira and Bessie Jennings.
Mrs. Eaton and Glen Everett Eaton were married February 3,1950, in Hunter, KS.
Mrs. Eaton graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1949. After living in Kansas City KS, Wichita KS, and Memphis TN while her husband Dr. Eaton completed his medical training and service in the Navy, the Eatons moved back to Salina in 1959.
She was very active in the University United Methodist Church and numerous volunteer positions over the years, including Meals on Wheels and others. She provided accounting services in a volunteer capacity to several local nonprofits, including serving many years with VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. She also served as a Trustee at Kansas Wesleyan University and was a member of the Central Kansas Amateur Radio Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Glen Everett Eaton, MD; a son, Jerry Edward Eaton; two brothers, Clarence and Howard Jennings, and a sister Genevieve Wurm.
Survivors include: a daughter, Karen Eaton Garth, MD, and her husband John of Henderson, NV; two sons, Denis Everett Eaton and his wife Monica of Henderson, NV, and Steven Glen Eaton and his wife Linda of Bothell, WA; and two grandchildren, Eric Michael Eaton of Bothell, WA, and Jay (nee Julie Ann) Eaton, of Seattle, WA.
There will be no public services for Mrs. Eaton, per her and her family’s wishes. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
