Wes Shultis, Marquette<br><br>
Wesley Joseph “Wes” Shultis, 38, of Marquette passed away, surrounded by his family, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at home in Marquette. Wesley was born August 27, 1983, in Colorado Springs, CO to Allen Shultis and the late Kari Swanson.
Wes was a high school graduate and worked as a mechanic and machinist in the local area. Wes enjoyed family, friends, fun, and fireworks. Those that knew and loved Wes knew that he was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. If there was anything he loved more than the Cowboys, it was his children, Kaison and Elise. They were and forever will be his pride and joy.
Survivors include his daughter Elise Shultis; son Kaison Shultis; father Allen Shultis (Candy); second parents Chris and Lori Alstatt; brother Cody Alstatt (Heidi) of Wichita, KS; sisters Chendra Mitchell (Brian) of Marquette, KS, Karissa Hoffman (Asbjorn) of McPherson, KS, Caitlin Arbuckle (Kyle) of Marquette, KS, Noell Alstatt of Marquette, KS, and Bree Miller (Garett) of McPherson, KS, grandparents Leon and Donna Swanson; as well as eight nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Wes was preceded in death by his mother, Kari Swanson and his brother, Josh Shultis, as well as numerous grandparents and extended family members.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 10 at Salemsborg Lutheran Church, 3831 W. Salemsborg Rd, Smolan, KS with Pastor Ben Fulton officiating. Burial will be in Salemsborg Lutheran Cemetery, following the funeral.
