September 15, 1938 - October 12, 2020

Robert “Bobby” Crough, age 82 of Clyde, KS, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde.  He was born on September 15, 1938 in Salina, KS to Vincent M. & Faye V. (Harder) Crough.

He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1956 and attended Ft. Hays State College.  He married Elizabeth Anne Coates on Dec. 7, 1985 in Salina, KS. 

Bobby’s passion was the car business.  Throughout his career he owned two dealerships and was sales manager for several dealerships in Kansas and Oklahoma.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.  Bobby touched so many lives and could connect with others in the most remarkable way.  He truly loved his family and friends and has left each of us with “Bobby stories” that make us laugh, astound us, or warm our hearts.

He is survived by his wife Anne, Clyde; daughters Shellee Lujan, Roundrock, TX, Kathee Crough, Dallas, TX and Dana Singleton, Salina; sister Mary Pennachi, Seattle, WA and brother Curtis “Bud” Crough (Ruth), Rockport, TX, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bobby”; an infant daughter, Kellee; his parents; brothers Mike, Jim and Jerry Crough and a sister, Barbara Sorrentino.

It was Bobby’s wishes to be cremated and in maintaining safety for COVID-19, a private family memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday October 21, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.  The services will be live streamed on the church Facebook page for everyone to view. 

Burial of the cremains will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Solomon, KS. The family extends an invitation to join them for refreshments following the committal services at the Parish Hall in Solomon.

The family suggests memorials to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, or Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde in care of the funeral home.
