Several Salina Fire Department crews responded to a fire at the Speakeasy Bar and Grill, 2030 S Ohio Street, in Salina, this afternoon.

Salina Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Stansberry said at approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 25, Fire Engine Two responded to the Speakeasy within three minutes of receiving the call of a fire near the restaurant.

"It ended up being a storage shed just to the south of the building that was on fire," Stansberry said. " It was contained to the storage shed. It didn't do any structural damage and it didn't do anything to the inside or outside of their building. So we're able to contain it to part of the fence and the storage building."

Stansberry said there were no injuries to fire personnel or citizens.

"There was no smoke damage or anything to the building. They should be reopening later this afternoon would be my guess," Stansberry said.

SFD's fire marshal was on the scene, working to determine the cause of the fire.
