Don't forget: The Salina Salvation Army is hosting a Community Garage Sale later this week.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army, 1137 N. Santa Fe Avenue.
"This is a great opportunity for you to declutter your homes and make some extra cash by selling your gently used items. It's also a chance to help The Salvation Army help the community through our various programs and activities," the Salvation Army noted in a news release.
Those wishing to sell items are asked to call 785-823-2251 to reserve a space. Each space is eight-foot by eight-foot for $20, or two spaces for $30. All participants are responsible for their own sales, the Salvation Army noted.
Food and soft drinks will be available for purchase during the event.
