Pedro Martinez, 61, Salina, Kansas died Sunday, January 10, 2021.
He was born January 12, 1959 in Abrego Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was an Operator for Exide Technologies, in Salina for twenty-five years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral.
In 1987, he was preceded in death by his mother, Hermila Martinez and sister, Eva Martinez. In 2008, by his Father, Jose Isabel Martinez. In 2011, by his granddaughter Guadalupe Victoria Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Martinez; two sons Julio Martinez, and his wife, Monica, Chris Keene and significant other Ana; three daughters, Cruz Martinez and significant other Jimmy, Imelda Martinez and significant other Edwin Alicea Rodriguez, Luisa Sandoval and her husband Danny; three brothers, Israel Martinez, Gumaro Martinez, and Jose Martinez; four sisters, Amaparo Felguerez, Maria Moreno, Celia Rivera, and Elisa Martinez; eighteen grandchildren.
A vigil service will be at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N 9th street, Salina, Kansas at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. Followed by the rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. Mass will be Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina.
