"Vegan Shark is a three-person band from Dodge City and they play kind of bluesy, progressive rock type music," said Leslie Bishop, executive director for Salina Downtown. "We had them last year but it was so blasted hot, so we invited him back and we can't wait to hear them perform."
Vegan Shark's newest release, "Traffic Jam"
Drawing inspiration from groups like the Beach Boys, Genesis and Supertramp, Vegan Shark is ready to be back in Salina.
"The City Lights Stage is really cool too. It has a really nice backdrop. Not all towns have stages, and with a big mural in the background and it just adds a lot to to the performance, " said band member Nash Griggs. "We always have a great time in Salina."
Bishop said LIVE First Friday attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and coolers, but please do not bring pets.
