Salina South High School theatre students will be doing a different kind of trick or treating on Thursday.
During the South High theatre department's Trick Or Treat So Kids Can Eat initiative, members of South High's Drama Club will be knocking on doors asking for canned and dry goods that will be donated to the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank.
"Theatre students from South High will be dressed in costumes to collect food donations on Thursday, October 27th from approximately 5 until 7 p.m. Hundreds of pounds of food will be collected in one night, benefiting our local community with contributions to Salina’s Emergency Aid Food Bank," the theatre department noted in a news release.
