The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) released the 2024 Kansas Crime Index Report on Monday and lists out each county with statistics of violent and property crime offenses.
Here is the Saline County stats from 2023 - 2024:
Violent Crime Analysis
The 2024 Kansas Crime Index Report indicated that violent crime in Saline County decreased by a little less than 2% from 2023. A total of 239 (2024) violent crimes were reported for the offenses of murder, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault and battery.
Property Crime Analysis
The 2024 Kansas Crime Index Report indicated the property crime index in Saline County decreased by a little less than 1.5% from 2023. A total of 1,204 (2024) crimes were reported for the offenses of burglary, theft, motor vehicle theft and arson.
