James E. Wassenberg August 20, 1939 ~ April 15, 2024

James E. Wassenberg, 84, of Salina, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024.&nbsp; He was born August 20, 1939, in Beatrice, Nebraska, to Chris and Gertie Wassenberg, and was raised in Marysville, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife, Dee, of the home; daughters, Renee Moritz of Hays, and Julie Wassenberg of Marquette; stepchildren, Tami Stone of Gladstone, MO, Matt Hertig of Lawrence, and Tara Hertig of Bennington; five grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and brothers, Donald Wassenberg of Marysville, Chris Wassenberg of Reno, NV, and David Wassenberg of Salina.

Cremation has been chosen and services are not planned at this time.
