GYPSUM - A minor earthquake shook part of southern Saline County early this morning.

A 2.3 magnitude quake struck at 6:49 a.m. Sunday southwest of Gypsum, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. It was centered just south-southeast of the S. Cunningham Road-E. Hedberg Road intersection.
