Darlene LaMar Bayes, 83, of Salina, passed away May 29, 2021. She was born March 8, 1938, in Herington, KS.
She worked as a daycare provider for 57 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emma (Eberspacher) Wendlandt; husband William Bayes; son-in-law Robert Blue.
Survivors include her children,Robert C. Bayes (Kim), Darla Blue, Brenda Martin (Donald), Barbara Saetz (Jesse), Debbie Prellwitz (Andy); and brother, Richard Eberspacher, and best friend Delsie Hogan, 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2021, at Roselawn’s Chapel. Burial will follow at First Baptist Cemetery, Hope.
