Jack L. Eakins, age 66, entered into rest on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the North Central Kansas Medical Center in Concordia, KS. He was born on July 11, 1956 to John and Joyce (Shrader) Eakins.
He graduated from Clyde High School in 1974.
Jack married Wenxia Jiang on May 23, 2011.
Jack worked for Leiszler Transport hauling fuel.
Jack is survived by his wife Wenxia Eakins, Concordia, KS; daughter Kristina Eakins, Topeka, KS; sons Cory Eakins (Carrie), Clyde, KS and Tony Eakins, Concordia, KS; stepdaughter, Zui Holloman (Matthew), Topeka, KS; brother Jay Eakins, Bentonville, AR.; sisters Cheryl Tira (Tom), Columbus, NE.; Dawn Steinman (Albert), Chester, NE.; brother-in-law Ed Bridges, Richland, WA and grandchildren, Cora, Cate, Shaeleigh, Carter, Warric and Ember Eakins and Everleigh Holloman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister LeAnn Bridges and nephew Bryan Runyan.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6-7 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2022 at the funeral home with burial in the Hollis Cemetery, Hollis, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
