UPDATE: NWS issues hazardous weather outlook for area due to smoke

UPDATE 5:30 p.m. Sunday: 

Smoke from western wildfires is expected to be an issue in our area through at least Monday, according to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service in Wichita.

Areas of smoke may cause reduced visibility and lower air quality at times through at least Monday, the weather service noted.
