Della M. Gier, 95 of Clay Center died Thursday, October 22, 2020.&nbsp; She was born on September 16, 1925, the daughter of David and Callie (Walters) Ramsey.&nbsp; Della graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1943.&nbsp; She married Howard “Shorty” Gier on October 9, 1943.&nbsp; She worked at KP&amp;L in Topeka, Boogart’s, Farmer’s Insurance, Brown’s and was a truck driver at Hutch Manufacturing for 10 years.&nbsp; Della babysat for many kids and took care of several older people.&nbsp; She is preceded in death by parents, two sisters, husband, Howard, son George Gier, grandson, Zayne McVey and son in-law, David Kendrick.

Della was member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.&nbsp; Her family was very important to her.&nbsp; She loved spending time with her kids, great grandkids and great great grandkids.

Daughter In-Law: Patty Gier of Hutchinson, Kansas

11 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great Great Grandchildren
