Four suspects are being sought after being tied to a theft at a Salina store, resulting in over $10,000 in cash stolen.

According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Sunday just after 4:00 pm, officers were dispatched to El Planeta Mexican store (1917 S. Ohio) for the report of a theft.

Reportedly, employees stated there were two males and two females who entered the store. Both the men and one of the women were distracting the employees, as the other female stole a money bag from the store.

Inside the money bag contained over $10,000 in cash.&nbsp;

The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle.

According to SPD, the suspects drove away in a grey Honda van with Virginia plates. FLOCK cameras also indicated the vehicle entered into Salina before the crime occurred.

The suspects were wearing black face coverings at the time of the theft, and there was no further identification.

 SPD believes they are not local. The investigation is ongoing.
