Women in leadership will be the focus of a conference at Kansas Wesleyan University March 31.
The conference, held to recognize Women’s History Month, will include a keynote address by Kim Grossardt, whose career experience consists of executive-level roles at Equity Bank, Pizza Hut, as well as the co-ownership of Grossardt Investments.
Luci Larson, former Salina mayor, Saline County commissioner, and owner of Action Travel in Salina, will serve as conference emcee. Additionally, the conference will feature a number of local women leaders as part of a speaker series throughout the evening, including the following.

The schedule for the conference, according to information from Kansas Wesleyan, is as follows.
4:30-5:15 p.m.: Appetizers and networking, Brown Mezzanine in the Student Activities Center
5:20-6:20 p.m.: 7x7 Speaker Series, 201 Peters Science Hall
6:30-7 p.m.: Keynote speaker Kim Grossardt, 201 Peters Science Hall
There is no registration fee to attend the conference, however, those attending are asked to provide donations of feminine and personal hygiene products that will be donated to the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank, Kansas Wesleyan noted in a news release.
