Sunny skies and warm weather will continue through the end of the week, with the potential of records being broken today.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, today will be the warmest with areas along the Interstate 70 corridor likely to approach record highs today. The temperatures will be little cooler but continued warm for Thursday and Friday, NWS reported.
There is the potential for some of the record highs to fall today, NWS noted. Chanute is the only location that will not have a chance to break a record, NWS added.
