Friends of Salina Public Library collecting books, other items

Have some books you would like to get rid of? The Friends of the Salina Public Library can help.

The Friends' Drive Up, Drop Off Book Donation Day is set for 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the library, 301 W. Elm Street.

Persons donating are asked to drive up to the front of the library, where volunteers will unload the donated materials. Accepted donations include the following.

●Gently used fiction and nonfiction books for adults and children

●Textbooks and travel books less than three years old

●Audio Books

●Music and movie CDs/DVDs

●Video games

No encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, or homemade recordings can be accepted.

Donations will be included in upcoming Friends of the Salina Public Library Used Book Sales. All proceeds from the sales go directly yo support programs and activities of the Salina Public Library.
