HARVEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Monday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Nissan Altima driven by Ana Herrin, 18, Waxahatchie, Texas was southbound on Interstate 135 just south of the Hesston exit.
The car left the road, struck and traveled through a KDOT guardrail, vaulted onto NW 60th and struck a second guardrail.
EMS transported Herrin to Wesley Medical Center. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
Herrin is listed as a freshman member of the Bethany College golf team, according to the school website.
