About the meeting

The Salina City Commission will hold its regular meeting on Monday December 22, 2025. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm inside Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street.

1. Conduct a Public Hearing and consider approval of the proposed 2025 Amended Budget.

2. Conduct a Public Hearing and consider approval of Ordinance No. 25-11274 making certain findings and expanding the Salina Downtown Redevelopment District pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1770 et seq.

Consent agenda

1. Consider approval of the December 8, 2025, regular meeting minutes.

2. Consider approval of the December 16, 2025, special meeting minutes.

3. Consider approval of Resolution No. 25-8322 describing the 2025 corporate limits of the City of Salina.

4. Consider approval of Resolution No. 25-8324 authorizing the Mayor to sign a letter in support of Resilience Clubhouse and its application for a nonprofit property tax exemption.

5. Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for legal services with Clark, Mize & Linville.

1. Consider approval of Ordinance No. 25-11266 adopting the 2018 International Fire Code and local amendments.

2. Consider awarding a Contract for Consulting Services to SHG Advisors of Conifer, CO in the amount of $71,899 for the development of a Strategic Plan to address Homelessness.

3. Consider a reduction in landfill fees for materials resulting from the demolition of 1616 W. Crawford Street.
