Christopher (Chris) R. Black, age 77, Concordia, KS resident, passed away Tuesday January 6, 2026 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, KS. He was born May 12, 1948 to Glenn C. and Pauline (Rodgers) Black in Concordia, KS.
He worked at the Concordia Blade Empire as a Photographer.
He is survived by his sister Gloria B. Newingham, Manhattan, KS, nephew Mark Newingham, Overland Park, KS, and niece Michelle Berroth, Shawnee, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Pauline Black, and brother Glenn (Ed) Black.
Visitation/Calling Hours will be Thursday January 15, 2026 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Nutter Mortuary.
