
Agnes Olah, 68, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at her Johnstown apartment.
Agnes was born in Budapest, Hungary on September 17, 1951 to Tibor and Margaret (Mikle) Olah. Agnes was 6 years old when the family left Hungary and moved to Winnipeg, Canada. After 8 years the family moved to Fargo, ND and became United States citizens.
After high school, Agnes attended North Dakota State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology. In 1996 she became the Microbiology Lab Supervisor for Tony's Pizza Service in Salina where she worked for over 15 years.
Agnes is survived by her aunt, Martha Olah; cousins, Robert Olah (and a daughter) and Andrea Armstrong (and a nephew); and her deceased cousin, George Olah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tobor and Margaret Olah; uncle, Julius Olah; and cousin, George Olah.
Many thanks to Hospice for the care and kindness given to Agnes and all her friends that helped take care of her. Memorials can be made to the Salina Animal Shelter in honor of Agnes who loved her cats. Cards sent to Ryan Mortuary will be forwarded to her family in Canada.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Fargo, ND with inurnment with her parents at Riverside Cemetery.
