The National Weather Service in Hastings, Neb., has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 12 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday for the following counties in our area.
Jewell County
Mitchell County
Mixed precipitation is expected with at least a glaze of ice expected to coat all outdoor surfaces. Total ice accumulations of one-tenth to two-tenths of an inch and snow accumulations of up to one inch are possible.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 12 a.m.-noon Thursday for Cloud County.
Freezing rain and freezing drizzle changing to rain by late morning. Total ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch.
Slick travel conditions are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
