Monica L. Toney, 52, died Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. Monica was born September 26, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to Alphonso Toney Jr and Lillian Toney nee Terry.

Monica was preceded in death by grandparents, Alphonso Toney Sr, Eliza (Walker) Toney-Jefferson, Virgil O. Terry, Georgia (Anderson) Terry; brother, Alphonso Hamilton; and uncles Willis M. Toney and Robert K. Anderson.

She leaves to mourn many relatives and friends. Among them are her children, Rica R. (Toney) Simpson, Jessie Toney, Kelsie Toney; grandchildren, Mona Toney, Phillip Simpson III, Jamie Ford, Amira Toney, Hashiem Ford; siblings, Alphonso Q. Toney, Khalilah N. (Toney) Matallah, Alphinia A. Toney, Alphonso L. Toney, Terrell A. Toney; parents, Alphonso Toney Jr, Lillian Terry; and many nieces, nephews and family members.

Celebration of life to be handled by family at a later time.
