Salina Police officers responded to the intersection of Ninth and Crawford Streets for a vehicle accident involving a Kansas Bureau of Investigation vehicle.

Salina Police Seargent Garcia said the accident occurred this afternoon, May 30, shortly before 4 p.m.

"It wasn't an actual SPD vehicle [involved] belonging to SPD," Garcia said. "It was a vehicle from a different agency."&nbsp;

Seargent Garcia confirmed one of the vehicles involved in the accident belonged to the KBI. Melissa Underwood, public information officer for the KBI said the accident occurred when a vehicle rear-ended the KBI vehicle at the Crawford/Ninth Street stoplight.&nbsp;

Underwood said there were no injuries as a result of the accident.&nbsp;
